Hey Jason.

If you want to give me a call, I’ll be back home at 8:00 and change. Try around 8:30. Today is class day and I’ve got some Calculus word problems to do. Hopefully I did better at the Differentiation test than I thought I did, because if I did as bad as I thought… well, I’ll have to see about working rediculously hard to bring that grade up.

Oh, and I got a job. Nothing fancy, it is actually a part-time position at Knight-Ridder down here doing some call center stuff. The way I look at it, it is an easy job with flexible hours that is tailor made for my attempts to get back to school. It will allow me to get my “local” classes done so very much faster than Lex 2 that it isn’t even funny. We’ll have to see though, I may start looking for another job if the salary cannot make both ends meet.

For the next three weeks I’ll be in training, working from 1 to 5 Monday to Friday, so D&D could happen either this weekend or next (preferably next?). After that I start working “all week” meaning I’ll be going from 11 to 5 (the eleven is not a typo) and I’ll have tuesday and saturday off. Yeah. That somewhat puts the kibosh on the whole “weekend” thing. So when you guys get moved back down here then we can start casually playing D&D on saturdays. Oh, and the Sunday is from 6 (am) to 3 (pm) so yeah… no late nights.

We’ll see how this works, but hey, it shouldn’t be all that long if I’m using it to get back to school. Mayhaps three semesters and a summer and I’ll have local classes bottled up. Then its all distance stuff.

Whew…

So I celebrated D-Day with an invasion of my own: I stormed a Dark World in La Pucelle. It started as a Dark Energy Index of 114, so less than the 130 that just took my characters apart, but still it was no easy task. Level 10 had two Demons (a high level Hippo and a high level Whale) with over 700 HP each. At the end it was my Pumpkin King, Prier and Croix alone out of the eight I could bring in. But also at the end it was worth it.

When you beat it, you get a “Good Ending” screen that gives you still more phat l00t. I’m not sure of the formula, but I ended up with a Cute Book that gives 32 to all stats, has one lightning element and raises SP by one. Also they gave me 60,000 prica. So Axe Bomber here I come. I may repeat the trip, though with more shoes on Papillon. She can really book when given the chance.

The job hunt begins tomorrow. I go to drop a resume by Knight Ridder in the morning, then I check on unemployment. After that I check on my State Retirement account. Just to know how much is there for possible backup money. You know, just in case I need it. Kristi also found me a hell of a job offer with Edens and Avant downtown, so I’ll print up a resume and either fax it in or just drive down there myself. Wish me luck.

Oh, and that anime blog will be along any day now. Probably tomorrow, as I’ll have some time.

Got Fired

See post title. That is all.
